This course is aimed at staff working within an educational setting who deal with personal data and need to comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The GDPR encompasses any personal data that is stored and processed on a standalone computer, a network server, a mobile phone, in the Cloud or as hand written notes. In an educational setting that means all, and any, personal data held on students, parents, staff and governors. The course content is written in partnership with Cindi Pride, Deputy Headteacher with significant school experience in preparing for the GDPR.
